Our Story
Family-owned coffee, built on creativity, resilience, and a love for great flavor.
In 2009, what started as a small cupcake business quickly grew into something bigger. As a family-run business, our kids were part of it from the very beginning—helping out, learning the ropes, and growing right alongside the company.
When the idea of a breakfast food truck came along, one thing was clear: great coffee had to be part of the experience. That’s when Java Junction was born.
Instead of serving ordinary coffee, we set out to create blends that were just as bold and creative as the food we were making. Our first coffees included favorites like Juan of the Best, Just Java, and Jamaican My Java. Along the way, a phrase came to mind that quickly became part of our identity:
Java Junction
Now I Can Function.
The journey eventually grew from a food truck into a bakery and then into our restaurant, Java Junction Coffee Bar & Grill, which became a gathering place for the community.
In 2018, a fire tragically destroyed the restaurant and it never reopened. While that chapter ended unexpectedly, one thing remained constant — the coffee.
For Scott, the restaurant was more than a business. It was his happy place. He loved talking with customers, building relationships, and seeing something we created become part of the community. Those years were filled with long days, laughter, and memories that will always be part of our story. Scott’s memory lives on following his passing in May of 2025, and the spirit, hard work, and love for community that he brought to Java Junction continue to inspire everything we do.
Today, Java Junction continues forward with the same spirit it always had: creativity, resilience, and a love for great coffee shared with good people. Our family remains part of the journey, and the story continues with every cup.
Every bag we roast and ship today is part of that story—the same coffee that started at the junction all those years ago.
Because at the end of the day, coffee isn’t just a drink.
It’s the start of the morning.
It’s the pause in the afternoon.
It’s the moment that helps you reset.
And sometimes…
It’s exactly what you need so now you can function.
